Large Slip At Waiohau
Although the heavy rain over the week-end has retarded operations, the work of trimming and clearing up the final touches on the Te Teko-Waio-hau-Galatea Road is being pushed rapidly ahead. Last week, a large slip of over 1,000 cubic yards blocked the road on the Waiohau side, but this was suceessfully eleared after two days' work.
