Scotswomen were responsible for many surprises at the golf tourney, including the defeats of the American champion (Miss Hicks) and three other members of the American international team, as well as all the French eompetitors. The f ollowing additional seores are announced: Mrs Watson beat Mrs Highbie 6 and 4; Mrs Todd beat Mrs Hill, 3 and 1 ; Miss Vanwie beat Miss McCulloch 8 and 7 ; Miss Park beat Miss Hicks 3 and 2; Miss Hamilton beat Miss Orcutt 2 and 1; Miss Enid WRson beat Miss Esmond 7 and 6; Mrs Varie (nee Collett, runner-up 1930) beat Mrs Coats, 7 and 6; Mrs Chen-ey beat Miss Chambers 1 and 0 ; Mrs Waluer beat Mrs Lacoste (nee De La Chaume, champion 1927), 5 jand 3.
