DANCE AT WAIOEKA. SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. A successful dance was held in the Waioeka Hall, Opotiki, last week in aid of St. Stepheri's Church, Opotiki. The Gaiety Orchestra provided the music and durihg the evening Miss B. Kelly rendered a very pleasing song. Amongst those present were: Mesdames Benham, blue satin; Morrell, green crepe de chine; Hedley, red georgette; T. Rawson, green satin; Pearse, Boon; Misses Bert, white satin; G. Carey, lemon fioial voile; M. Birkmyer, green spotted voile; N. Shanake, orange crepe de chine; N. Casey, floral voile; J. Lord, pink crepe de chine; E. Butler, blue satiri and lace; J. Kirkbride, whxte satin; B. Kelly, black georgette; J. Kelly, green jumper and skirt; V. Hutt, jumper and skirt; J. Allen, green satin; I. Allen, lemon satin; J. Parkinson, cream satin; L. Lee, mauve satin; C. JLee, E. Lee, Anstis, T. Hambly (mauve satin) ; E. Kirkbride, green taffetas. A chocolate dance competition was won by Miss J. Lord and Mr. L. Ratcliffe.
