SATURDAY'S RESULTS

SENIOR TEAMS STOP PLAY AT HALFTIME KEEN JUNIOR GRADE CONTEST With the Rugby representatives away at Taupo, there was only a fair attendance of spectators at the Charity Day matches at Arawa Park on Saturday. The friendly matches in the senior grade proved dull affairs, in both games the teams turning it in at half -time. In the junior competitions, however, some interesting games were witnessed. By registering 14 points to nil, Kahukura clearly convinced Old Boys B that they were the better team, while Rotoiti, in a game that produced no outstanding features, defeated Ngongotaha by 11 points to 6. Horohoro was defeated by Whaka.
