british companies agree to eliminate competition RECEIPTS TO BE POOLED

Rec. May 29, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Saturday. In the interests of economy, two great railways, the London-Midlamd and the Scottish-North Eastern, have agreed to pool their reeeipts whereever there is eompetition between them. The arrangements will involve the elimination of overlapping and redundant services and some curtailment of staffs.
