Rec. May 29, 5.5 p.m. CHICAGO, Saturday. Mr. Edward Swift (68) chairman of direetors of the Swift packing interests, and son of the founder, fell to his death from the sixth floor of his apartment hotise to-day. It is not known whether his fall was accidental or suicidal. His associates insist that he was not involved in financial difficulties either personally or in connection with the business, and when last seen he was in the best of spirits.
