AMATEUR CYCLING
• TO-MORROW'S ROAD RACE FROM TIKITERE TURN-OFF RIDERS AND HANDICAPS The second cycle road race in the Rotorua Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club's winter programme will ■take place to-morrow afternoon over a course of approximately eight miles. The coufse chosen is from the turn-off to Tikitere on the Te Ngae Road to a finishing point at the corner of Fenton Street and the Te Ngae Road. The race is timed to start at 2.30 p.m. and motorists using the road are requested to look out for the .cyclists and wherever possible to ' grant them the right of the road, especially at the finishing point. The following handicaps have been declared by the handicapper (Mr. F. . A. Hayward) : — -N. Howe (scr), A. Griffiths (30sec), R. Henry (Imin), H. Howe. G. Haycock (l£min), R. i Dawson, J. McCall (2min), S. Howp ,(2£min). *
