Rec. May 24, 11.35 p.mSHANGHAI, Tuesday. Despite the premature report of his death the Japanese General, Baron Shirikawa, elings tenaciously to a slight thread of life. A last minute effort was made to save his life this morning, when a blood transfusion was given.
