HAMILTON, Tuesday. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report that at Frankton sale to-day there was a heavier yarding than usual of wsthers and ewes, with a smaller entry ' of fat lambs. There was practically no alteration on last week's quotations. A very heavy yarding of ox beef was receivsd, with quotations on a par with late rates. A good yarding of cow beef met with no altering and a medium yarding of store cattle sold at late rates. The advertised entry of store sheep on account of Mr. James Law of Gordonton attracted fair competition and sold at satisfactory prices. There was again a full yarding of fat and store pigs. Fats remained steady at last week's values, while stores and weaners were slightly firmer. Quotations; Sheep — Prime fat wethers 15/- to 15/10, prime 2-tooth ewes and wethers 13/11, medium fat wethers 13-/1 to 14/-, light 11/- to 12/-, forward conditioned 8/3 to 9/10, heavy fat ewes 8/- to 10/-, medium 6/- to 6/9, killable 4/- to 4/6, heavy fat lambs 12/6 to 14/-, medium 11/to 11/6, light 9/- to 10/6. 4-tooth to 4-year old breeding ewes 12/- to 12/6, 5-year-old breeding ewes 8/- to 9/-, sound mouth ewes 5/-; Cattle. Heavy fat ste'ers £6 5/- to £6 6/-, medium £5 13/- to £5 17/6, light £3 19/- to £4 10/-, heavy fat cows £2 15/- to £3, medium £2 to £2 10/-, light 32/- to 35/-, boners 8/- to 14/-. Pigs: Heavy baconers £2 to £2 4/-, medium 35/- to 38/-, light 29/- to 32/heavy porkers 24/- to 28/-, medium 19/- to 23/-, light 14/- to 18/-, stores 10/6 to 12/6, slips 6/6 to 9/6, weaners 5/- to 7/6 .
