SIR A. NGATA ACQUIRES 900 ACRES AT WAINUI WHAKATANE, Mon. Negotiations which have been in progress between Mr. Hector Gordon and Sir Apirana Ngata, Minister of Native Affairs, for the purchase of th© farmer's property at Wainui, have been completed, with the purchase of 900 acres by the Minister. It js believed that the price is £2/10/- per acreThe property adjourns other land recently acquired by Sir Apirana Ngata for native settlement.
