WAIROA ROAD CHOSEN FOR THE NEXT RACE
SATURDAY'S EVENT A further road cycle race will be held by the Rotorua Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club next Saturday afternoon, the course chosen being from the turn-off to Tikitere to a finishing post opposite the Boa*ough -Council stables on the Wairoa Road. Keen interest was taken by cyclists and enthusiasts in the first race, from Ngongotaha to Arawa Pai'k, held on Saturday May 14, and good performances were registered by most riders. It is likely tliat entries for fufure events will show an increase on those then received. Entries for next Saturday's race close with the hon. s'ecretary, Mr. G. J. Casey, to-morrow at 5 p.m.
