WELLINGTON, Saturday. Hon. W. Downie Stewart, Minister of Customs, announced to-day that r has now received advice from the Cahadian Government that they are prepared to hring the trade agreeliient into force on Tuesday, 24th instant. The Ganadian authcrities have been.. advised that this date will suit New Zealand, and the necessary Order-in-. Council and proclamation will he deait with hy the executive council on Monday. (
