LONDON, Wednesday. The correspondent of the British United Rress Association at Rome says that the P'apal Encyclical being issued to-day appoints Corpus Christi, May '26, as a day of prayer hy the faithful to renounce on the eight succeerding days amusements and recreations as an atonement for the evils of the present day, among which the Pope enumerates atheism, Communism, corruption and exaggerated nationalism.
