Rec. May 18, 7.50 p.m. KOVNO, Wednesday. Following six years investigations and a trial in which 100 witnesses were heard, the former Premier of Lithuania, Vytautas Petrulis, accused of defalcations while in office, was sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment and ordered to pay £2050. He was alleged to have received money from taffickers in alcohol and also for import licenses for cigarettes and yeast.
