-By TeligraT-'a- -Copyriglif).
WELLINGTON, Monday. Mr. Sidney W. Pascall, president of Rotary International, was tendered a civic reception in the Town Hall today. Mr. Pascall and his party later visited the Botanical Gardens, where a numher of Puriri trees were planted. At the reception, Mr. Pascall said he had arrived in New Zealand when times were diffieult and the tragedy of it was that the solution of the difficulties did not wholly depend on the people. He hoped, however, that the people of the Dominion would fight through their difficulties, even as the old pioneers had done .He had no doubt there was a great future awaiting the Dominion, and he wished it great solidarity of all classes and that they would work together for the common good.
