Rec. May 15, 5 p.m. NEW YORK, Saturday. The Americans defeated Mexico in the Davis Cup round here, taking both singles and doubles. Vanryn and Allison defeating Tapia and Unda 6—1, 6—2, 3—6, 9—7. The United States will now meet Australia in Philadelphia on May 28.
