PREMIERS OF QTH.ER STATES AND PARTY LEADERS PLEASED LANG'S REIGN ENDED

SYDNEY, Saturday. Mr. Bruxner, Leader of the United Country Party, commfents: "I welcome the- news that the Governor has recalled Mr. Lang's conimission. The people of New South Wales will now he given an opportunity of ridding themselves of the disgraceful management to which they have been subjected." Dr. Earle Page, Leader1 of the Federal United Country Party, says he is glad that at last New South "Wales will have an opportunity of expressing its opinion of the extraordinary and outrageous acts of Mr. Lang. He added: "I have not the slightest doubt what the result will be." The Premier of Queensland, Mr. A. E. Moore, said: "It is one of the greatest Godsends that could happen to Australia. It is a great thing for tbe country that Mr. Lang's wild career has come to an end:" The Premier of South Australia, Mr L. L. Hill, stated that the thought Uppermost in his mind was not so much relief that Mr. Lang had been removed as the gigantic natune of the task which will confront Mr. Stevens in making a beginning in the restoration of New South Wales. . Mr. Tunneycliffe, Acting-State Premier and Colonial Secretary, declined to make any comment on the developments.
