MELBOURNE, Sunday. The Iatest returns in the Victorian elections indicate that the state of the parties in the new Parliament : will be : — United Australia 32 Country Party 14 Officiai Labour 16 Unendorsed Labour 2 Independents 1 The following ministers were def eatqd :. The Ministef of Lands, Mr. . H. S. Bailey; the Assistant Miriister •for Labour, Mr.. G. C. Webber, and the Assistant. Minister for Agriculture, Mr. R. T. Pollard, while the At-torney-General, Mr. W. Slater will also probably be defeated. The United Australia Party also! dotibled its sbcength. The election has been disastrous' in all aspetts for tbe Laboui4 Party which was s'plit on the Uon-ehdersfe-inent of the Prfemiers' Plaii.
