MR H. VALDER OF HAMILTON DISTRICT PRESIDENT ELECT ADDRESS BY MR PASCALL

DUNEDIN, Friday. Rotarian H. Valder, of Hamilton, was nominated as governor-elect , of the New Zealand District at this . morning's conference of Rotary clubs. He will be elected at the world con- ■ ference at Seattle. The principal discussion of the morning was on a resolution from the - community service group: "That whereas the problem of fihding work for boys is beeoming acute it is re- . solved that it he a recommendation to all clubs to co-operate in all efforts to find work for them." This was carried. An inspiring address op. Rotary's many phases hy Mr. Sydney Pascall, international president, was a featureof this morning's session. Mr. Pascall received a y/arm welcome, expressed by the Mayor, Mr. Blackj and the district president, Mr. Guthrie. Addresses were given as follows: "Rotary in Business," hy Mr. James Hogg (Dunedin)-; "Buyer and Sbller Relationship," by Mr. F'. N. Ambler (Auckland) ; "Employer-Employee Relationship," by Mr. C. E. Jones ( Christchurch ) .
