(Jewish vice president. of the police fprce) interr.upted the counting on a Nazi vote of no-eonfidence by marching. into the Reiehstag, searching . ,f or f our Nazi deputies, who allegedly assaulted a Socialist journalist within the building. ... The Speaker, Herr Loebe denounced the eulprits by name and demanded their withdrawal from the Chamber which order was ignored. . Herr Loebe thereupon suspended the business and summoned the police, who arrested the quartette, one of whpm, ex-Lieutenant Heines, was once sentenced to four . years for shooting a.- suspected traitor to the Blaek Reichswehr. . > The motive for attaeking the journalist was a series of artieles accusing Herr Hitler's Chief of Staff, Herr Roehm, of moral lapses. . ' , The no-confidence motion was lost.
