PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP WON BY MRS WILSON AUCKLAND, Thursday. In the final of the Auckland ladies' provincial golf championship, Mrs Wilson defeated Mrs Williams by 1 up at the 20th hole. The Middlemore Gnp Was won hy Miss Bray, Who defeated Mrs J. 0. Finlay in the final. In the championship semi-finals Mrs Williams beat Miss McCormick '6 and 4 and Mrs Wilson beat Mrs Deighton 1 up. The semi-final for the Middlemore Cup resulted: Ml's J. C. Findlay (12) beat Mrs J. Paterson (14), 3 and 2 ; Miss Bray (15) beat Mrs R. Rainger (18) 4 and 2.
