Rec. May 12, 7.0 p.m. PARIS, Thursday. Gouguloff, the assassin of President Doumer, also wanted to kill President von Hindenburg, Professor Masarylc (the President of CzechoSlovakia) and Leniii, the ex-Bolshe-vik leader who died in 1924, according to an extraordinary statement made by him to the examining magistrate. ^ Professor Masaryk received him and treated him so pleasantly, he said, that he abandoned the idea of assassination. Gouguloff said thatl the ("Reds" killed his father, and he joined the "White" Army and had to flee to Prague, whence he could not return to Russia to kill Lenin. One witness, however, alleged that Gouguloff had visited Russia several times and returned with large sums of money.
