WOMEN'S CLUB

LITERARY CIRCLE MEETS. Last Thursday afternoon the afternoon literary circle' of the Rotorua Women's Cluh met at the home of Mrs. Green, Arawa St., to rpad Ernest Raymonds, Play, "The Iceberg.." The hostess, who wore a froek of brown satin and georgette, received her guests in the drawing-room, which was beautifully arranged with bowls of autumn chrysanthemums and pink sweet peas. The play was a brilliant and realistic piece of work, the main theme being centred round the wreck of the Titanic. Those taking part in the. readlng were;- — Mrs. Green, Mrs. Johnston, Mrs. N. M. Keane, Mrs. Walsh, Mrs. H. H. Davis, Mrs. W. A. Carter, Miss J. Pearce, Miss J. Hodgson and Miss G. La Trobe Hill. Mrs. A". Brown and Miss.D. Hodgson were also presenL_
