HUNT CLUB
AFTERNOON TEA AT "THE MOUNT." At the close of the first mect of the Rotorua Hunt Club on Saturday last, Dr. and Mrs. Bertram entertained the riders at afternoon tea at their home, "The Mount." Tea was served on the spacious lawn and an air of pleasant informality added to the enjoyment of those present. Mrs. Bertram received her guests wearing a nigger-brown tailored costuma and hat to tone. The lady-riders present were: Mrs. T. Jackson on Rex, Mrs. Humphries on Springbok, Mrs. McKenzie on Erica, Mrs. D. Castleton on Chip, Miss Joan Bertram on Diana, Miss Betty Bertram on Nelson, Miss Hinton on Lady, Miss A. Brackebush on Old Sport, V.C., Miss H. Ford on Bonny, Miss Smith on Billy Hoa, M;ss H. Morrison (Whakatane) on Jack, Miss Betty Ford on Star. Others present included: Mrs E. A. Meredith, Mrs. H. P. Ford, Mrs. E. La Trobe Hill, Mrs. W. Ashton, Mrs. E. H. Harvey, Mrs. K. Tappe^, Mrs. Westlake (Cambridge), Mrs. J. Blencowe, Mrs. W. Young, Mrs. T. MtConnell, Mrs. McLean (Mamaku), Mrs. Ward (Whakatane), Miss Erima Bertram, Miss Margaret Meredith, Miss Jean Meredith and Miss G. La Trobe Hill.
