Unusual Interruption.
There was an unusual mterruption at a meeting of the Christchurch Tramway Board, as a result of which the business was held up for a few minutes, reports the Press. Answering a loud knocking at the door, Mr. A. A. McLaehlan was heard to engage someone in a brisk conversation. He had scarcely resumed his seat when the door was again violently rattled.
