FAREWELL SERVICE

REY. A. C. RANDERSON'S -LAST SUNDAY AT ST. JOHN'S END OF LONG MINISTRY On Sunday for the last time the Rev. As C. Randerson filled the pulpi-t of St. John's Church as its minister. The church was crowded at both morning and evening services, the quarterly Communion being held in the morning, when something like a record number participated. In the evening Mr. Randerson spoke on the theme "If I Had my Life Over Again," especiaily dwelling on the longing for old friends, old assoeiations, and the living over afresh of very happy periods, at the- close of a chapter in one's life. Com,ing to Rotorua in 1S519, Mr. Randerson has become widely known as Presbyterian minister in the town and keen regrets have been expressed by a large number of friends that ill-health should have made it necessary for him to rest for a year, and thus terminate his long' ministry here.
