DINNER PARTY
A very enjoyable private dinner party was held at Lake House Hotel on Friday night when Lieut. Colonel - E. G. Fraser entertained a number of friends on the occasion of his birthday. Among those present were Messrs. L. J. Bayfeild, -G. Urquhart, L. Higginson (Okoroire), G. Camp (Aucland),. H. Mau, C- B. Peterson, W. Tucker, A. McGill and L. Dixon. A suitable toast-list was honoured and one of the features of an excellent menu was specially prepared venison secured by the host on a recent shooting trip.
