SIR T. WILFORD'S HOPES FOR OTTAWA ECONOMIC CONFERENCE

LONDON, Monday. Speaking at the Anzac Day lunchnon when toasting "The Ottawa Con-fei-exice," Sir Thomas Wilford (High Commissioner for New Zealand) said that any delegation going there with the intention of winning would be an enemy, because if anyone won some other member of the Empire lost. Whatever the outcome, he hoped it would be a permanent Empire Economic Council.
