LONDON, Monday. Canon W. P. Besley, formerly of New Zealand, preached the Anzac Day memorial service at St. Clement Danes. Mr. J. G. Latham (AttorneyGeneral in the Australian Commonwealth Government) and Sir Thomas Wilford (High Commissioner for New Zealand) read the lessons. The latter was suddenly overconie by faintness during the reading, and had to allow the Chureh Warden to complete the lesson. Afterwards Sir Thomas Wilford placed a wreath on the Cenotaph on behalf of the New Zealand forees, as did Lady Wilford on behalf of the Victoria League in New Zealand.
