BRANCH OF WOMEN'S DIYISION FORMED AT REPOROA.

REPOROA, Tuesday. With the idea of forming a branch of the Women's Division of the New Zealand Farmers' Union at Reporoa, the following ladies visited the settlement: Mrs. W. Campbell, immediate past president, Mrs. W. Van Veen, secretary, Mrs. D. D. Snedden, vicepresident, and Mrs. H. J. W. Scott, vice-president, of the Putaruru bfanch. Arriving at noon by car, they were entertained to lunch by the ladies of Reporoa in the public hall. After an address by Mrs. Campbell upon the aims of the Women's Division, it was decided to form a branch at Reporoa, with an initial membership of nearly 20. The following were elected as officers: — President, Mi*s. R. Bfown; secretary, Mrs. E. Forster; executive, Mesdames G. G. Seccombe, A. Paton, B. W. Friis, L. Ward and R. W. Dunbar.
