Rec. April 21, 8.50 p.m. OTTAWA, Wednesday. The preliminary work for the Imivial Economic Conference is being ished forward. Committees, submmittees and inter-departmental ganisations of the Government are N at work gathering essential inrmation. Parliament will probably hear disssions on the Conference when the te of 250,000 dollars to defray the penses of the Empire gathering toes before the House of Commons. The Premier, Mr. R. B. Bennett, is spared to set aside a day for memrs to express their views.
