Lieutenant Massie, under cross amination, revealed that he had Jen told by others that after the lling he stood like a log, unable to eak. Jones told him that he had ted like a d — fool. These and other details were realed, completing the story of the lling while under a mental lapse i while attempting to extract a nfession of rape. The case for the defence is now iaost complete, except for possible itimony by alienists.
