Masterton's Unique Position
Masterton is apparently in a unique position. A New Plymouth resident was visiting that district a few days ago and was informed by a prominent land agent that there were waiting lists of people? wanting houses. The position is due, it is stated, to the fact that the head offices, together with the whole headquarters staff of a large concern have been moved from Christchurch to Masterton.
