DENTAL CLINIC

ACCOMMODATION PROVIDED AT KING GEORGE V. HOSPITAL FINAL ARRANGEMENTS It was reported to last evening's annual meeting of householders of the Rotorua Primary School, that a satisfactory arrangement has now been made in connection with accommodation for the proposed dental clinic in Rotorua. Recently an officer of the Dental Division of the Department of Health visited Rotorua, and in company with members of the local dental clirrc committee, inspected a room at King George V. Hospital which it was considered might be suitable for temporary accommodation. A letter has now been reeeived from the Director of the Dental Divis'on (Col. J. L. Saunders) stating that an arrangement had been made with the Hospitals Division of the Department to make this room available. The room is to be used as temporary accommodation and it was mentioned by the Director that at a later date it might be necessary to remove the clinic to a different portion of the hospital. Either arrangement will only function until permanent quarters can be obtained. The Director also advised that a nurse had been appointed and would take up her duties as soon as the necessary drrangements had been made. A meating of the d'strict dental clinic committee will be called at an early date to make arrangements for furnishing the clinic preparatory to the nurse taking charge.
