POLICE AGAIN MJSS MURDERER OF YOUNG SYDNEY COUELE LYNCHING THREATENED

Rec. April 18, 7.50 p.m. SYDNEY, Monday. Duriqg the week-end, the hunt for the man wanted in connection with the murder pf Frank Wilkinson and Dorothy Denzel was zealpusly conclothes are assisting the foot police and private citizens. A section of the latter openly declare that fhey !ynch the man if they catch him. The police to-day missed their quarry .by only half an hour in the scrub near Dumbleton. A local ci|;izen, Edwin Robinson, who is acquainted with the wanted man, said the fugitive jumped up and disappeared in the scrub some distance away. The police, who searched the whole of this area yesterday, were summoned and inspected the spot, but without result. Mr. Robinson states that when he ohtained a glimpse of the maq he was lying under spme updergrowth with his hands tucked under his head.
