HEAVY INCREASE IN INCOME TAX EXPECTED IN SWEDEN HUGE FORGERIES ANNOUNCED

Rec. April 17, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Saturday. The Daily Telegraph says that it is expected that Sweden's income tax will be increased at least 20 per cent. owing to the Government's losses on tbe Kreuger taxes. It is now stated definitely that Kreuger forged Italian Treasury bonds to the extent of £16,000,000 and it has not been discovered that use was made of them.
