STORE SHEEP AT FRANKTON

HAMILTON, Thursday. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Hamilton, report on their weekly Frankton store sheep sale held yesterday as follows: — A fairly large entry of fat wethers were in good demand, and found buyers at satisfactory values. For the few pens of store lambs and ewes competition was brisk, and values on a par with late rates were maintained. Quotations: Four-tooth forward wethers made 11s to 11s lOd; others 10s 3d to 11s; average lambs, 3s 6d to 4s 6d; in lamb ewes, 6s 9d.
