LADIES' SHOW PROMI5E The lady members of the Rotorua Miniature Rifle Club, held a practice at the drill hall on Tuesday evening, 14 members attending. The best scores obtained so far are: — Miss L. Richardson, 61; Mrs. G. H. Weir, 61, Miss J. Isdale 59; Miss E. Ellison, 55; Miss F. Richardson, 43; Mrs. H. Henderson, 37, This being the first practice for ladies they feel very hopeful of successfully challenging the men in a much shorter time than at first anticipated. The ladies are very keen and quite a number indulged in practice on Wednesday afternoon. Miss L. Richardson challenged her brother to a match in which she obtained the fine score of 61, this being only her second shoot. Her brother's score was 60. 1
