Use of Worthless Machinery
How apparently worthless machinery can be adapted to useful work was demonstrated to an Oamaru Mail representative recently. An Oamaru resident bought a derelict motor-car for ten shillings, his main reason being to get the springs. But he found that, with very little adjustment, the engine was in good order, so he removed it and now uses it at his home to operate a circular, for which purpose he finds it eminently satisfactory. .« ■
