In reply to brief fluestioning by the assignee, the bankrupt said he had no money whatever and could not make any offer to his creditors, He attributed his failure to the fagt that he had not been paid for a bush contract at Wanawahe and to the legal expenses incurred through proceedings taken against him in connection with a motor collision. He had also lost a lot of working time owing to sickness in his family. The amount of the unsecured debts was given as £130. and his sole asset was the debt of £200, which he claimed was owing to him on the bush contract. Mr. E. Roe appeared for the bankrupt.
