CARE OF THE HANDS
How many women entirely ignore the fact that their hands tell the story of th'eir yeats ? But the hands of the middle-aged woman, if they are properly cared for, can resemble those of a yourig girl. They require attention — to prevent the skiri growing hafd and wrinkled. It is wise, state the beauty experts, never to expose the hands to extremes of cold or heat. They should be washed as little as possible, but clearised frequehtly with a lotion or cream. If they have to be Washed often and glycerine is used dri them, it should be rubbed in when the hands are still damp. At night massage your hands with a rich cream and wear loose gloves or mitteris. Ari occasiorial bleaching lotion is good for the hands, and sports women find that spirits of camphor takes away redness. Small hands are no longer considered by the experts to be 'essential to perfect beauty. A large hand with well-shaped fingers is preferable to a small hut not so well shaped one.
