Dog Saves Master's Life.
A dog was practically responsible for saving the life of his master on a farm at Ahikouka, near Greytown, reoently, .While standing at a gate to allow the cows through after milking, Mr. J. Uprichard, a labourer employed on the property, was attacked by a Jersey bull. Although tossed q,nd gored, he had presence of mind enpugh to whistle "his dog, which responded at once and diverted the attention of the infuriated animal sufficiently to allow the injured man to crawl to a place of saf ety.
