RHUBARB COTTAGE PUDDING
Ingredients. — Half cup lai'4, 11 cups sugar, 1 egg beaten, 1, cup unsweetened rhubarb, 2 cups flour, I .teaspoon salt, 2' teaspoons baking powder, h teaspo(j»h. ginger. Method.— Blend lard and sugar, add beaten egg and rhubarb ; sift dry ingredients and add to mixture. Bea£ thoroughly. B.ake in loaf tin. in moderate -oven for one hour.
