HAMILTON, Tuesday. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report: — At our Frankton sale to-day we had a small yarding of sheep, although the qual'ty was better, and priees were very firm at late rates. There was also a much smaller yarding of cattle than usual, with practically no alteration on last week's quotations. Owing to the holidays it was the smallest entry of pigs for some months and prices for all classes were easier. Quotations : — Sheep: Extra prime fat lambs, up to 18s; medium, 12s 6d to 13s; prime hoggets, up to 14s 7d; light, 10s 6d to 11s lOd; wethers, 12s 6d to 14s; fat ewes, 7s to 7s lld'j unfinished ewes, 5s to 5s 6d. | Cattle: Heavy fat cows, £4 to £4 12s; medium fat heifers, £3 3s to | £8 16s;, light fat cows, 35s to £2 10s; • empty cows, £1 to £1 10s; boner cows, 10s to 18s. Pigs: Prime baconers, 37s to £2; medium, 32s to 36s; light baconers and heavy porkers, 24s to 30s; light, j £1 to 23s; stores, 10s to 17s; slips, 5s to 8s; weaners, 2s to 4s.
