BLENHEIM, Saturday. T.he interprovincial eight-oar championship saW Otago Win for the fourth successive time, over five other provincial crews at Picton Harbour on Saturday afternoon. The rowing conditions were by no means favourable and there was a punishing race against a head wind on an outgoing tide, The title holders were neyer headed, making eyery post a winner. Canterbury made a determined effort, finishipg gamely in second place, Marlborough made a brilliant spurt oyer a quarter of a mile to get third. Auckland rowed promineUtly all the way and finished fourth. Wanganui disappointed badly failihg over the last part of the race, and Wellington were always last. The trial of the Olympic Games crews, resulted in the possibles defeating the probahles by a few feet over a 1% miles course in 9 minutes 45 seconds. Later the afternoon, the selectors chose the foRowing for'the Olympic crew, but the positions are not yet fixed: D. SAndos (Hamilton), C. A. Stiles (Canterbury), S. Cox, F. H. Thopxpson (Canterbury), J. McDona(d, V. Ollsson, L. Jackson, C. E. Saunders (Marlborough), J. ,C- Cookc : (Wellington), J- Solomon (Otago).
