FALSE ALARM
early morning call to fire brigade What was described by members of the brigade as A malicious f Alse alarm was received by the Rotorua Fire Brigade at 2.50 o'clock this morning. The pall came from the alarm box near the Lake House Hotel at Ohinemutu, and the brigade was promptly on the scene, but on arrival at the box Was unabie to find either the- person who had put in the call or Signs of the' expected fire. After a thorough investigation in the vicinity the brigade returned to the station.
