MET ON BEND

TWO CARS COLLIDE ON MAMAKU HILL At an early hour on Saturday morning, a head on collision occurred on the Mamaku hills hetween a Hamilton bound motor-car and another car proceeding to Rotorua. Both vehicles were damaged, hut none of the occupants were injured. One car was driven hy Mr. A. J. Gordon, of Rotorua, who was proceeding to Hamilton and the other hy Mr. H. Dunton, of Waihi. Mr. Gordon was negotiating a sharp hend ahout 10 miles from Rotorua and the two cars met on the turn. The mud-guards and wind screens on hoth cars were considerahly damaged, hut f ortunately neither went off -the road.
