WELLINGTON, Thursday. In the House of Representatives to-day, Mr. W. Nash (Labour, Hutt), asked the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, whether he would advise superannuitants whose annuity was less than £100 a year, and who were entitled to the cost of living bonus, that tlae circular recently sent to them advising that the- bonus would cease at tbe end of this month would not be made effective until the matter had been considered t>y Parliament. Mr. Forbes said tbat the cost of living bonus had been granted for six monthly periods up to March 31, 1932. The question as to whether it should be continued for a further six months would be considered when the report of the National Expenditure Commission was before Cabinet.
