RESULTS OF EVENTS DECIDED AT THIS WEEK'S MEETING. ROTORUA AMATEUR CLUB. The Rotorua Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club held a further sports meeting on the High School grounds on Monday evening last, the track being a trifle heavy after the we.lcend rains. Ridmg to the front in the first lap, S. Howq held that position to the end of the half-mile cycle handicap and won comfortably from A. Bcckett in lmin 18sec. P. Bell (scr.) rode a fine race in ihe three mile event, but could not catch the winner, R. Henry, to whom he had concedtd 220 yards. M. Bell rode into third place. The two 8-yard-markers, H. Steele and R. Devin, received the decision in the 100 yards handicap in that order, A. Lillas, giving away five yards to the winner, being third. The time was llsec. First place in the ladies' 75 yards spr:nt went to A. Dodson, who finished strongly a foot ahead of P. Wylie, a new member of the club. E. Hardie was third, the winner's time bsiag 9sec. The mile handicap, which was run in semi-darkness, resulted in a win for A. Lillas, the virtual scratch man, R. Dawson, finishing second and C. Randerson third. With a handicap of 5 feet, I. Bcckett won the broad jump with 22ft 2ins. in a field of nine competitors. N. Hinton (21ft lOin) being second. Detailed results follow: — Half-Mile Cycle. — S. Howe (10yds), 1; A.
