PLUNKET SOCIETY

Last Friday afternoon the executive eommittee of the Rotorua branch of the Whakatane Plunket Society met at the residence of Mrs. F'. W. Wilkie, Pukaki Street. In connection with the street stall held recently in an endeavour to augment the funds of the society, it was reported that the j satisfactory sum of £35 2s ld had been raised. The iced cake donated by Mrs. Johnstone, was won by Miss Downey. The ladies who helped to make the stall such an outstanding success and who Tent their assistance in every way possible comprised Mrs. F. W. Wilkie, Mrs. J. Halkett, Mrs. S. H. Hay, Mrs. E. Roe, Mrs. S. H. Wallis, Mrs. H. Smith, Mrs. A. M. Isdald and Miss Johnstone
